When you start considering self-storage it’s important to think about what kind of storage you’ll need. Not all of the units are the same. Of course there are different sizes, but different types are also available, and they serve different functions.
For instance, outdoor storage, these self-storage units are not climate controlled but offer other types of benefits. An outdoor storage unit can be convenient as you are able to drive your vehicle or moving truck right up to your unit for easier access. They are located in a secured compound with keypad access and have 24/hour access. They are also more cost effective when in comparison to climate controlled units.
Another option would be indoor storage. These units are inside our facilities and they are climate controlled with 24/hour access. There is also a lot more options for sizes, and we have accessible carts and dollies as unit locations aren’t always close to an entrance. Indoor units have the usage of our loading docks for easy loading and unloading of moving trucks, while also staying out of the elements of the weather. These units are also good for items that are sensitive to extreme temperatures i.e. paintings, certain furniture and wooden pieces.
The last option would be our mobile Big Box storage. These containers are limited in size but offer the great convenience of only loading and unloading once. They can be brought right to your front door, and they can be left onsite for as long as you want or taken to our secured compound for storage. They are made of steel and are completely air tight and weather tight. While you may not have access 24/hours, you are still able to arrange access to you Big Box just by calling in advance. Another great feature of our Big Box containers is we do not tilt and load; we have the ability to crane the containers off even and level thus not causing your items to tilt or shift around.
